大雪山林道不僅賞鳥 還有台灣黑熊

大雪山林道是國內賞鳥天堂，至少記錄過卅二科、一○二種鳥類，幾乎囊括台灣所有鳥類特有種。林道旁、樹林間，隨處可見彎嘴畫眉、繡眼畫眉、冠羽畫眉等，森林園區更有罕見的台灣帝雉、藍腹鷴、竹雞，每年國際級賞鳥大賽，也吸引許多國內外重量級愛鳥人士。

大雪山林道是國內賞鳥天堂，假日吸引不少賞鳥人士（截取自東勢林區管理處）

不只鳥況豐富，大雪山更有山羌、長鬃山羊和黃鼠狼、白面鼯鼠、台灣黑熊等野生動物，以及保存完整針闊葉混合林、闊葉樹天然林，也擁有豐富變色葉植物；由於位處高海拔、視野遼闊，更是絕佳觀星景點。
