（中央社日內瓦10日綜合外電報導）法新社報導，世界衛生組織（World Health Organization,WHO）公布最新數據顯示，今年初西非國家爆發伊波拉病毒疫情以來已造成4000多人死亡。

WHO指出，截至10月8日，共有7國發現8399起病例，造成4033人死亡。

路透報導，這波歷來最嚴重伊波拉疫情死亡人數包括賴比瑞亞2316人、獅子山共和國930人、幾內亞778人、奈及利亞8人和美國1人。

此外，WHO數據還包括西班牙和塞內加爾各1起病例，但無人死亡。(中央社)
