印Uber司機性侵案延燒　德里禁服務

手機叫車業者Uber司機性侵疑雲愈演愈烈，印度德里國家首都轄區政府8日宣布禁止Uber的當地營運。

兩天錢，一名26歲女子在搭乘Uber時睡著，醒來卻發現遭到司機性侵。受害人報案後，Uber提供警方駕駛姓名、照片、地址和車輛等資料，該名司機隔日遭到逮捕。

德里交通部發表聲明，未來將禁止Uber繼續提供交通運輸服務。以服務據點計算，印度是Uber美國外最大的海外市場，這起事件對Uber印度部門的傷害不可言喻。

Uber共同創辦人也和印度內政部長同聲呼籲，為被害人討回公道。

嫌犯2011年曾被控在計程車上性侵遭監禁7個月，但最後被判無罪。Uber網站宣稱提供「最安全的載客服務」，也會對司機實施「值得信賴的身家調查」，如今看來特別諷刺。
